The business of Consnexus GmbH is developing and selling of Field Flow Fractionators. The AFFFF (Asymmetrical Flow – FFF) is already well established as a research and routine analyse system for nanoparticles, biomolecules, viruses and bacteria. This chromatographic method is able to measure the size distribution in almost all available solvent without shear forces. Because of low surface there is no absorption or change of the actual conformation of the particle.
The company Consenxus GmbH is developing improving the CAFFFE. This preparative AFFFF allows that what the inventors of this technique implicate with naming it as a fractionating process. CAFFFE allows now to fractionate nano particles in a semi preparative amounts. Upscaling to an online process separator is the most exciting challenge for Consenxus GmbH and there is no sign for any limitation for this type of technique.
