information The technolology platform INKtelligent printing® at Fraunhofer IFAM describes the development of nanoscaled functional suspensions. Disperse nanoscale powder materials are dispersed into liquids or directly integrated into fluid matrices. These nanoscale suspensions are developed into funtional inks for printing functional structures and intelligent components. Fraunhofer IFAM offers several ink-jet printing methods as well as an aerosol printing method called Maskless Mesoscale Material Deposition (M3DTM ). Using M3DTM it is possible to apply functional metallic or biological structures onto different surfaces or components with resolutions as fine as 10 µm. |
