The nanotechnology competence center cc-NanoChem eV currently involves the extensive know-how of 21 members, such as manufacturers, processors or users of chemical nanotechnology. The thematic priorities of the association include the areas of technology transfer, standardization, regulation and safety issues.

In addition to the members, the network comprises of about 200 companies and institutes. In addition, cc-NanoChem e. V. is a member of the working group of the nanotechnology centers of competence in Germany AGeNT-D and the initiative KompetenznetzeDeutschland.
