The Institute for Microtechnologies carries out projects in the fields of micro- and nanotechnology. These are bilateral co-operations with industry as well as internal or public funded projects. Labs for vacuum technology, technical optics, thin film technology, solid state physics, an ion accelerator and a class 1 cleanroom are central parts of the equipment together with a manifold of analytical methods.
