How to get to Messe Frankfurt

 

Frankfurt is located in the centre of a dense network of autobahns and is one of Germany´s most important traffic junctions.

 

Arriving by Car

The A5 interstate via the Westkreuz Frankfurt interchange takes your directly to Messe Frankfurt. Follow the signposts "Messe Frankfurt" or "Messe". These will take you to the "Rebstock" grounds, where there are 15,000 parking lots located right next to the interstate. From there a free shuttle bus will take you to the trade fair grounds.

 

Arriving by plane Frankfurt Airport

When you arrive at Frankfurt Airport, you are only 15 km away from Messe Frankfurt.

 

... and taking the suburban train to Messe Frankfurt

Every eight minutes an S8 or S9 suburban train (direction Hanau) leaves the station below Terminal 1, stopping at the Central station (Hauptbahnhof). The journey takes approx. ten minutes. Upon arrival, follow zje green "S" signs and turn left towards the underground station. From here it is only two stops on the S3 (Bad Soden), S4 (Kronberg), S5 Bad Homburg/Friedrichsdorf), or S6 (Friedberg) to the "Messe" stop. The journey takes approx. three minutes.

 

Arriving by plane Frankfurt-Hahn Airport

The arrival halls and baggage reclaim are located directly behind the apron, and passengers can reach them directly on foot. Terminal 1 is open 24 hours a day. For mor information visit www.hahn-airport.de .  

 

... by car from Frankfurt-Hahn to Messe Frankfurt

  • take the B50 main road as far as the A61 interstate (direction Bingen)
  • at the Nahetal interchange take the A60 interstate (direction Mainz/Wiesbaden)
  • take the A643 interstate in the direction of  Wiesbaden
  • at the Schiersteiner interchange take the A66 interstate (direction Frankfurt)
  • at the Eschborn interchange take the A648 interstate towards Messe via the Westkreuz Frankfurt interchange
  • then follow the Messe parking guidance system in opertaion

... by bus from Frankfurt-Hahn to Messe Frankfurt

The stop for the shuttle bus to Frankfurt Airport and Frankfurt Central Station is located directly in front of the terminal. The journey takes around 1 hour 45 minutes. For information on the timetable call +49 (0)6543 50190 or visit: www.hahn-airport.de.

 

Arriving by train

ICE, IC and EC connections from all over Germany and Europe converge at Frankfurt Central Station. The subway station below the Central Station provides the most direct and fastest connection to the "Messe" stop by the Rhein-Main Public Transportation Authority (RMV) suburban (S-Bahn) and subway (U-Bahn) trains.

 

... and taking the suburban train to Messe Frankfurt

Follow the "S" signs and turn left towards the subway station. It is only two stops from the suburban railway station at the Central Station, platform 104, to the Messe Frankfurt stop. The Messe Frankfurt has its own station, which you can reach via the four suburban train lines S3 (Bad Soden), S4 (Kronberg), S5 (Bad Homburg/Friedrichsdorf), S6 (Friedberg).

 

... and taking the subway to Messe Frankfurt

The U4 leaves the Central Station for Bockenheimer Warte, stopping at "Festhalle/Messe" ("Eingang City") at regular intervals. 

 

... and taking the streetcar to Messe Frankfurt

From the railway platform, proceed to the main exit, cross the station forecourt and go to the streetcar stops immediately in front of you. No. 16 and 17 will take you directly to the "Festhalle/Messe" ("Eingang City") stop.
